Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of this website. Your actual services, if you become a client, are governed by a separate signed engagement letter.
Last updated: July 22, 2026
1. Who these terms are with
farobookkeeping.com is operated by Larimar Group LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company doing business as Faro Bookkeeping ("we," "us," "Faro"). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. No client relationship is created here
Reading this website, submitting the contact form, or exchanging emails with us does not create a professional relationship between us. A bookkeeping engagement begins only when both parties sign a written engagement letter that sets out scope, fees, and terms. Until that happens, we owe you no professional duty, and you should not act as though we do.
3. Information here is general, not advice
Everything on this site — including the pricing pages, the frequently asked questions, and the explanations of accounting concepts — is general information about bookkeeping and about our services. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it is not tailored to your situation.
Specifically, and without limitation: we are not a CPA firm; we do not perform audits, reviews, compilations, or any other attest service; we do not prepare or file tax returns; we do not represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service; and we do not provide investment advice or act as an investment adviser. Where your situation calls for a Certified Public Accountant, an Enrolled Agent, an attorney, or a registered investment adviser, engage one.
4. Pricing shown on this site
The rates published on this website are starting prices, offered in good faith as a realistic indication of cost. They are not offers capable of acceptance and do not form a binding quote. Your actual fee depends on the scope, volume, and complexity of your engagement, and becomes binding only when stated in a signed engagement letter. We may change published pricing at any time; a change does not affect a fee already fixed in a signed engagement letter.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use this site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its underlying systems; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site except as invited by our security.txt disclosure policy; interfere with the site's operation; submit false or misleading information through the contact form; use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages; or use automated means to scrape or harvest content or contact details.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design, layout, text, and branding of this site are owned by Larimar Group LLC and are protected by United States copyright and trademark law. "Faro Bookkeeping" and the Faro mark are trade names and marks used by Larimar Group LLC. You may view, download, and print pages for your own reference. You may not republish, sell, or use our content commercially without written permission.
QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online are registered trademarks of Intuit Inc. Other product names mentioned belong to their respective owners. Reference to them does not imply any endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless we say so explicitly.
7. Third-party links
Where we link to another website, we do so because we believe it is useful. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and our linking to them is not an endorsement.
8. Availability, and no warranty
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is complete or current.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Rhode Island law, Larimar Group LLC and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of this website — whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability arising from your use of this website will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This limit applies to the website only. Liability arising from bookkeeping services is governed by your signed engagement letter, not by this paragraph.
Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is so, the exclusions and limits above apply to the maximum extent the law allows.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Larimar Group LLC and its owner from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of this website or your breach of these terms.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Providence County, Rhode Island, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force. These terms, together with our Privacy Notice, are the entire agreement between us regarding this website. They do not modify any signed engagement letter, which controls in the event of a conflict.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above will change, and continued use of the site after that constitutes acceptance.
